You did it! You are here. The first step towards change is recognizing you need support. Life can present with challenges, obstacles or barriers that can throw you off your course. Looking within, building coping skills and having a safe place to explore your feelings, thoughts and emotions will help guide you back on your course. As a licensed MFT and Art Therapist Channie (sha-nee) utilizes an eclectic, collaborative, holistic approach to guide an individual to externalize their pain in both verbal and non-verbal forms of expression, to connect mind, body and spirit and increase overall functioning in all areas of one's life. Channie received my Masters Degree (MA) from Phillips Graduate Institute, with a major in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy with over 12 years of service.
Channie specializes in working with adolescent girls, transitional youth, addictions, grief, bereavement, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain and depression. As an art therapist, Channie is familiar with utilizing alternative forms of expression, such as art expression, movement therapy, music therapy, and play therapy in addition to traditional talk therapy. Art therapy is a non-verbal modality of self-expression to better understand one's emotional conflicts, develop social skills, improve self-esteem, decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger and improve overall functioning.
Seeking help is one of the hardest things to do. Making the first phone call is the next step towards your recovery. Finding the right therapist is so important in your treatment. "My promise is, if it's not a good fit for you, I will provide you assistance in finding a therapist that can guide you to a positive experience in your recovery".
As a mother of three children, Channie has a deeper understanding of the challenges a family might face, and a greater appreciation to the family dynamic. She is passionate and dedicated about her field to inspire positive change and growth in a supportive and safe environment.
I am an integrative therapist adhering to the philosophy that each client is different and requires a tailored approach.
Therapy is a valuable tool for individuals seeking to improve their mental health and evolve to become their best selves. As a therapist, my services are geared toward helping clients navigate various mental health concerns and issues, such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, attachment-based family therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Trauma-focused treatment assists individuals who have experienced traumatic events to process their experiences and begin the healing process.
I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we process life experiences and work collaboratively towards developing goals, coping strategies, and creating positive changes.

My name is Eliza Haury. I am an associate marriage and family therapist and certified reiki practitioner. I believe that our inner focus creates physical feelings that project and create our life experiences.
My therapeutic work is holistic, addressing the various facets impacting your life, including mind, body, spirit, as well as community and environment. One of the hallmarks of my approach involves engaging clients as active participants in their healing journey, fostering a collaborative therapeutic process. My mission is to guide you in connecting with the essence of your authentic self, enabling you to navigate life and make informed decisions from this place.
My therapeutic lens is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment theories, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Jungian perspectives. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness-based, trauma-informed practices into my therapeutic work, including somatic experiencing and movement, as well as art and expressive art therapies.
I work with children, adolescents and adults who are: experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD; experiencing grief and loss; experiencing stress or burnout; going through life transitions and decisions; struggling with self-esteem, self-confidence, self-worth, self-compassion, and self-acceptance; experiencing relational struggles, familial conflict, peer conflict; seeking more direction and purpose; processing trauma; experiencing women’s issues and empowerment; spiritual seekers, and more.
I am a mental health therapist by trade and have spent many years working with adolescents, adults and individuals who felt like they were stuck and could not move forward. I am also a certified energy healer and a certified life coach. I use a combination of evidence based cognitive/behavioral tools, energy healing techniques, and mindfulness to empower clients to change and heal. I do not believe in year after year of therapy, and that the client ultimately decides on the changes they make. I help my clients heal, transform and inspire others to do the same.
